KOLO is a pendant light that was designed to combine both the gracefulness of form and brutality of its material. All of its elements are based on the same geometrical shape, a circle. The height and angle of the light’s inclination are regulated with a two-cable system. The light’s form is a stainless-steel mirror-disk with three lamps that are equally distanced from the centre, which reflect off the surface and enhance the warm glow.
The image of KOLO is inspired by the modernist shapes and industrial aesthetics that surround us in the post-Soviet landscape, and embody the symbols and monuments of the bygone epoch.
